President on a mission

This has been a busy year so far. NeFRW having been asked to co-host the biennial convention with Missouri and Kansas, we are raising money to pay for the delegate bags for the convention. Programs and events are underway across the state to help in this effort. The NeFRW will also be providing volunteers to help with activities surrounding the biennial convention on September 29-October 2, 2011.
Later this fall we will have our Fall board meeting in Kearney together with two campaign schools, one to be held in Kearney at the same time as the Fall Board Meeting and the other to be held the following day in Lincoln or Omaha.
I cannot stress enough how important this election cycle is to everyone not only in our communities but across the country. As 56% of the electorate it is our job as Republican Women to get the word out to encourage not only our members but also our friends and neighbors to get involved. We have a unique opportunity and duty to help change the disastrous course our country is on at the moment. But in order to achieve this, it will take each and everyone of us doing our part.
